Our Team
Fiona Bruton, Owner/FounderFiona founded MCDS with a vision to create a sanctuary for those who felt marginalised. Her passion for inclusivity and empowerment led to the establishment of MCDS, which is dedicated to providing personalised care and promoting independence. Fiona believes in the power of community and enjoys singing and dancing to forge connections and add a touch of fun to our gatherings.
Lee Pankhurst, Head of Service DeliveryLee values the personal, family-like atmosphere of our smaller organisation, which allows for meaningful interactions with participants and their families. Known for her commitment to breaking gender stereotypes, Lee is a proud parent of a non-binary child and is passionate about promoting understanding and acceptance. Despite her many talents, she humorously admits that gardening is not one of them.
Sharni, Marketing ManagerSharni is dedicated to amplifying the voices of participants through innovative marketing and social media strategies. She draws inspiration from the achievements of our participants and is committed to inclusivity and authenticity making sure each story is heard and celebrated. She often describes the MCDS community as being on set for 'Cheaper by the Dozen' - a lively environment that instantly feels like home.
