What is the NDIS?

Unlike previous systems, the NDIS offers a tailored and personalised approach, allowing participants to choose the services and supports that best meet their individual needs.

How Does the NDIS Work?

The NDIS provides funding directly to eligible individuals, which can then be used to access a range of supports and services. This funding is tailored to your loved one’s specific needs and goals, ensuring they receive the support that is right for them.

Who is Eligible for the NDIS?

To access NDIS support, individuals must meet specific criteria. We’re here to help you understand these requirements and guide you through the eligibility process.

The NDIS criteria, includes age, residency, and the nature of the disability. To be eligible, an individual must:

Be between 9 and 65 years old.

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa. This ensures that the scheme supports those who reside in Australia on a long-term basis.

Have a permanent and significant disability. The NDIS is intended for individuals with disabilities that substantially impact their ability to perform everyday activities. This can include physical, intellectual, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial disabilities.

  • Provider Selection: With the plan in place, we’ll help you choose service providers that align with your family’s values and expectations.
  • Plan Implementation: We assist you in coordinating services and supports, ensuring a smooth transition from planning to action.
  • Regular Reviews: Life changes, and so do needs. We work with you to review and adjust the plan regularly, making sure it continues to provide the best possible support.
